$150.00

Our world is not flat → enter partial knitting!

Partial knitting (or short rows) significantly expands what can be knitted on the machine. It is how we can create shoulder slopes, bust darts, sock heels, and button holes in addition to more decorative textures and three-dimensional fabrics. In this class we will review how partial knitting is achieved on a knitting machine and various ways to use it in developing a garment or object. This is a hands on class. Each student will be provided with their own machine to learn and create several swatches illustrating the techniques demonstrated. The entire class uses a single bed machine. If you are also interested in learning to use the ribber attachment, please find details for our ribber classes here.

All materials will be provided.
