Learn what a punchcard knitting machine does best: Patterning!
In this class, you will learn the different types of stitches achievable on a knitting machine and how you can use punchcards to easily program them into various patterns. Patterning will include miss stitches, tuck stitches and two-color fair isle designs. This is a hands on class. Each student will be provided with their own machine to learn and create several swatches illustrating the techniques demonstrated. The entire class uses a single bed machine. Prerequisites: Intro to Machine Knitting Class, or already practiced with the skills learned in that class.
