No experience is required for the Intro to Machine Knitting class. This is a beginner’s course.
Most other classes will have some type of pre-requisite noted in the description. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you are unsure and have any questions about the requirements.

All payments for classes and open studio hours are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend an event you’ve already paid for, you may transfer your reservation to someone else.

Our building is located in downtown Ballard where you can find lots of street parking both paid and unpaid (if you park further away).
For public transportation options - we are located right on the 40 and 44 bus routes. The D Rapid Ride Bus also stops just a few blocks away at 15th Avenue.

Yes, the building has an elevator in the lobby just after your enter the front door. Our studio is located on the third floor right next to the elevator.

We recommend all participants be at least 16 years old.

Yes. You can buy a gift card for both our classes and open studio hours here.

Yes! We have some ideas for small team activities that can be completed in a four-hour session. Please reach out here and we can discuss what works best for you.

Everything! All of the machines, tools and accessories we have in our space - provided you know how to use it - is available to you. You can find a list of the current equipment here. Check back often as we are always acquiring more items.
If there is something in particular you wanted to use during one of the Open Studios, please reach out and let us know. We can reserve it for you if someone hasn’t already claimed it.
