$300.00

Learn how to create ribs! In this class we will review how to fully operate a knitting machine with the ribber bed to create different types of fabrics. The class lessons will also include ribber fabric terminology and how to read and write cam diagrams to be able to take notes about your own swatches and designs. This is a hands on class. Each student will be provided with their own machine to learn and create several swatches illustrating the techniques demonstrated.

This class is similar to our “Knitting with the Ribber” Course, but a little bit less of a time commitment. It covers all you need to know about starting to use the ribber attachment.

All materials will be provided.

Prerequisites: Intro to Machine Knitting Class, or already practiced with the skills learned in that class.

Date & Time: This class includes two sessions on consecutive Sundays. 9/13 & 9/20, 9:30-12:30.

Location: 2208 NW Market Street, Seattle, WA 98107, Room #304
